The Smart Card Validator is a high performance device offering high integration level and processing power needed in state-of-the-art fare management applications. The validator can be used for smart card checking and check-in or check-out functions. Several rules can be implemented like hot-lists, zone- and time validity checks. The validator features a wide variety of communication interfaces such as serial, Bluetooth, WLAN or GPRS. It can work as a stand-alone validator as well as a validator connected too an Electronic Ticketing Machine, a vehicle computer or a station computer. The validator can be equipped with different user interfaces like LCD or TFT-displays, a buzzer, indication lights and an optional keyboard.
